How to transfer accounts within WHM

  1. Log in to WHM.
  2. Using the search bar in either the left navigation menu or at the top-right corner, search for Transfer Tool.

  3. In the Remote Server Information section, fill out the Remote Server Address and Remote SSH Port fields with the necessary information.

     

  4. Under Authentication, select the preferred authentication method - via Root or User account.

  5. Select the Authentication Method. It is preferred to use Password (default), after click scan remote server to login

  6. Select which account you need to transfer/migration and DISABLE the Live transfer and click Apply

  7. Check the top box under Accounts to select accounts on the source server to transfer over; unless only specific users are moved over, click the Copy button.
  8. You can keep an eye on the page for smaller transfers and then review any warnings/errors/notifications about the transfer at the bottom. You do not need to stay on this page for the transfer to continue.
