To download emails as POP from an IMAP account, you need to reconfigure your email client to use the POP protocol instead of IMAP.
1. Back Up Existing IMAP Emails (Optional but Recommended)
Before switching from IMAP to POP, it's a good idea to back up your existing IMAP emails because POP downloads them and typically removes them from the server unless configured otherwise.

Select File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Export to a file > Outlook Data File (.pst)
Common POP Settings:
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.example.com (it depends on the mailserver ).
Port: 110 (non-SSL) or 995 (SSL).
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.example.com (it depends on the mailserver ).
Port: 587(non-SSL) or 465 (SSL).
Username: Your full email address.
Password: Your email account password.
4. Configure POP to Leave Emails on the Server (Optional)
When setting up POP, you may want to enable the option to "Leave a copy of the message on the server" so the emails won't be deleted from the server after being downloaded.
Or you can set it up so the email will be deleted after the number of days you specify.
The way how to enable the "Leave a copy of the message on the server" option
Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
5. Download Emails
Once configured, your email client will download all the emails from the server as POP messages.
You can also click the "Send/Receive All Folders for sync the emails from the its mail server.
